Stormborn Chapter 1 – The Lightning and the Lost Boy | Sci-Fi Comic Story

Prologue: Born in the Storm

Stormborn Chapter 1 begins on a night unlike any other—a night filled with power, fear, and something unexplainable.

The sky above a small Indian town twisted into wild spirals.
Thunder roared so loudly that even the bravest flinched.
Silver lightning tore through the clouds again and again, dancing like living fire.

Locals watched from windows in silence, whispering about omens, curses, or divine signs.
Some said the gods were angry. Others said a miracle was happening.

But by morning, the sky was clear—peaceful, even.
The storm vanished as quickly as it had come, leaving behind only gentle rain…
and a baby boy named Bharath, born in the middle of that cosmic chaos.

His eyes, even as a newborn, were deep and strange—like he was carrying memories not yet lived.

Scene 1: A Boy Out of Place

Bharath grew up like any average middle-class boy, going to school, wearing a uniform, and finishing homework on time.

But inside, he never truly felt average.

He was shy, quiet, and observant. While others played or joked, Bharath would sit alone, often staring into the sky like it was trying to tell him something.

“Hey Bharath! Say something! Are you mute or what?”
— kids at school would laugh.

He would smile lightly and walk away. But their words left marks, invisible to others, heavy on his heart.

He didn’t know what made him so distant, but he always felt like something was… missing.

Even teachers noticed.

“You’re a good boy, Bharath,” his science teacher once said. “But you seem like you’re waiting for something. Are you okay?”

Bharath would just nod.
He didn’t have the words to explain the strange weight he carried every day—the feeling that he was not quite meant for this world.

Scene 2: The Invisible Day

One evening, after another long day of keeping quiet and being forgotten, Bharath walked home slowly.

The sun was dipping behind the rooftops, painting the sky orange and gold.
The road was silent. The breeze was soft.

He stopped walking in the middle of an empty street. For a moment, he felt completely still—like the world had hit pause.

He looked up and whispered:

“Why am I born like this, God? Why do I feel so… invisible?”

The wind stopped. The air grew dense.
The clouds above began to churn—thick, fast, like they were alive.
Lightning flickered within them, glowing white and electric blue.

Then—
⚡ CRACK!

A bolt of lightning slammed into the ground exactly where Bharath stood.
There was no scream.
No warning.

Just light.

Blinding, burning light.

Scene 3: Gone Without a Trace

When the flash faded, Bharath was gone.

No one had seen it happen. There were no eyewitnesses. No sound of footsteps running away.

Only a faint smell of ozone… and a black scorch mark on the pavement where he last stood.

The next day, rumors spread through the neighborhood.

“Did you hear? A boy disappeared during a freak lightning strike!”

Some dismissed it as a story made up by children. Others believed something unnatural had taken place.

But one truth remained:
Bharath was gone.

The boy no one truly noticed… had vanished like a whisper into the storm.
